Beginners
Selby Archers welcome new members, experience or beginners.
Before being able to join us, every person must have completed a Beginners Course. The cost of the course is £40. This is to be paid BEFORE first night of your course.
These are run in 6 weekly 2 hour sessions, and the lessons learned on the course will allow any person to shoot safely and responsibly.
The two main aspects of the course are safety on and off the shooting line and also how to shoot a bow in a comfortable way, both of which will maximise the enjoyment which you will get out of archery.
For insurance reasons no person under 8 years of age can take part in a Beginners Course.
